During operation, the electrodes are consumed and when it becomes very small they must be replaced with new ones. The service life of the electrodes depends on the rate of production of copper ions and is approximately 6 to 12 months. Instructions for setting the operating modes of the ionizer are located directly on the controller case. Before using the ionizer make sure the pool water is clean and meets the following guidelines:
   - chlorine 0,3-0,5
   - pH 7,2-7,6
   - cyanuric acid 25-50
When the concentration of copper ions in the pool water reaches 0.5 ppm, you can stop adding chlorine. For correct operation of the ionizer, it is necessary to maintain the concentration of copper ions 0.5-0.9 ppm and the pH of the water in the range of 7.2-7.6. If many people swim in the pool who use sun lotions or oil, then chlorine can be added to the pool from time to time in order to eliminate organic impurities. For crystal clear water, an additional can be used organic flocculant.
