What is a copper ionizer for?

First of all, an ionizer is needed to maintain the health and comfort of people. Indeed, when using a copper ionizer, the water in the pool does not contain chlorine or other chemicals, which means that it does not irritate the skin and eyes of a person and does not have an unpleasant smell of chlorine, that is, a person does not inhale harmful chlorine vapors and does not absorb chlorine through the skin and eyes. This is very important for people swimming in the pool, especially for children. Also, the water becomes very soft and pleasant for the body due to the fact that it is saturated with anolyte and catholyte, which are formed as a result of the passage of an electric current between the electrodes. The water becomes active and alive.

How is the bactericidal effect achieved?

It's all about the copper ions that the ionizer produces for the pool. An ion is a charged particle, in this case a positively charged copper atom, it is precisely the very element that has a bactericidal, antiviral and algicidal (suppressing the growth of green algae) effect.

How does a copper pool ionizer work?

The ionizer consists of a chamber with copper electrodes and a controller that supplies voltage to the electrodes. Under the action of an electric current, copper ions are generated from the electrodes, which enter the pool water.

What else is achieved with a pool ionizer?

Costs for chemicals are significantly reduced. Chlorine can only occasionally be added in small amounts to discolor the water if there are many leaves in the water for a long time or if the water is contaminated with organic substances such as oils and lotions.

The maintenance of the pool is greatly simplified - you no longer need to constantly monitor the concentration of chlorine and cyanuric acid. Also, there is no risk that the water will turn green, even if the pump is not running for a long time.

The pH level is quite stable and requires only a small correction every 2-3 months.
